From an early age Geoff Beckett had a love and fascination with aircraft, he was a student at the Miles Aeronautical Technical School and through his early career as a technical illustrator and artist he managed to stay in touch with the industry. Moving on to build up a he built up a successful Berkshire-based advertising, design and PR business.
He became involved with avaiation again in 1985 when he collaborated with Julian Temple on the Woodley project and was involved in the opening of The Museum of Berkshire Aviation.
Geoff has used his oil paintings to widen the awareness of Berkshire's interesting and unique aviation history and began Brushes With Aviation in 2001 while recovering from a stroke.
